Camer History

The Camera-
1.Explain the “camera obscura” effect. How is it achieved?
The camera obsucara was the first camera been formed, They  formed a tiny hole on the wall , the hole would be the lens, focusing and projecting light onto the wall inside a dark room. The hole(lens) focused on the object or thing as they take the picture.

2.What invention during the 17th century helped man get a step closer to creating the modern camera? When Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding of the optics and the meaning  of the quality of the glass lenses and what difference it make as it you look at the subject that your aiming for closer.

3.What were the parts of the first modern camera invented by Niepce? He invented)the film. He added the film, to create the full version of a photograph, the modern camera was born. Supplies:(glass, lens , dark box)

4.What do modern digital cameras have in common with Niepce’s camera? All Cameras work the same they are just different models. The light passes through the lens

5.What do digital cameras use to capture an image? The digital camera uses the electronic sensor called CCD , The photographs are stored on a reusable memory device.

Camera Modess
6.What is the difference between the Auto Mode and the Program Mode? The  Auto mode means when the camera would be controlled by flash and exposure, Program Mode is when its just automatic-assist you just point shoot you can actually controlled it.

7.What is the Portrait mode used for?How does it work? The portrait  mode is used for the attempt of the blur of the background it would focus more on the persons head.

8.What is the sport mode use for?How does it work? The sport mode is used to freeze motion, The camera would use the highest shutter speed possible. Meaning trying to get a good look of the motion as the person is moving.

9.Why should you do a half press on the trigger button? We should do a half press on the trigger button to wait for focus lock , it would be focusing as u half press it, it would focus on the subject your trying to take a picture of.

10.What does this symbol mean?
This symbol means no flash , there moments as you take pictures where there is a very bright place you won't be needing it because there is light already.

11.What does this symbol mean?

This symbol means auto flash, Its when you need more light for the pictures like when its dark at the moment you wanna take the picture.

12.What happens to your photo if there is too much light? When a picture has to much light the picture will be washed out meaning you won't see the picture clearly. It would have to much light.

13.What happens to your photo if there is not enough light? When a picture doesn't have enough light it would be to dark. Its like when they have to much light you won't be able to see it clearly but in this case the picture would be to dark.

14.What is a "stop". The term of "stop" is used a photography aspect a symbol to the meaning of a relative change as the brightness of the light changes.

15.How many stops brighter is the new planet if there are two sons instead of one? It would be only one stop brighter ,if you have one single lightbulb and another bulb the light would increase by one stop so it would be one stop.

16.How many stops brighter is the new planet if there are four sons instead of two? If there are four sons (four lightbulbs)  it would only have two stops.  Because your adding two more sons.

17.What affect does a longer shutter speed of have? A longer shutter means more light as you control it.

18.What affect does a shorter shutter speed have? A shorter shutter means less light because the shutter would be blocking the light from exposing.

19.What does the aperture control? The aperture is a pupil that controls the size of the opening lance as it opens for the light to go through the light.

20.When adjusting the aperture, how can you increase the amount light? The  increase amount of light would depend on the Larger openings of the aperture as it opens.
